In 1994 Harrap decided to create 3 new books and cassettes to learn English with the characters of the adventures of Tintin. These books were named "Tintin et les mystères de l'Anglais" (Tintin and the mysteries of the English language).
This series of books were destined to young French people who wanted to learn or to improve their English. The voice on the cassettes is not Tintin's one. But the pages are set with pictures and frames taken from the real albums.

This series is composed of 3 different levels: Beginners (with Tintin), Medium (with Captain Haddock) and Advanced (with the Castafiore).

Then a series of dictionaries and a grammar book were published.

There will have "Tintin et les secrets de la grammaire Anglaise" (Tintin and the secret of the English grammar) in 1993 and "Tintin au pays des mots" (Tintin in the land of words) in 1990 with an illustrated dictionary French/Spanish-Spanish/French and a dictionary French/English-English/French.
